Financial literacy has interested me from the moment I learned to manage my first bank account. Entrepreneurs should be focused on achieving their goals, not reconciling and preparing financial statements.
I began my career by assisting small business owners with their accounting so they could do what they do best; run their companies.
Prior to founding Discovery Accounting, LLC, I worked for a top 20 accounting firm to collaborate with clients as their outsourced CFO and Controller.
In addition to working with my clients, I volunteer for the Colorado Society of CPAs: The only state-wide, not-for-profit professional association dedicated to equipping and empowering Colorado’s accountants. I serve on the board of directors, Chair the Young Professionals Council, and participate in the Independent Accountants Alliance, an entrepreneurial think tank to help my colleagues get started and grow their accounting practices.
When I'm not working, I enjoy being outdoors. I spend time camping and exploring our beautiful country with my husband.
